The Triton Fountain, created in 1953 by Weiden sculptor Josef Gollwitzer, is the showpiece of the Max Reger Gardens. In the center stands a bronze figure of the Greek sea god Triton, with his human upper body and fish-like lower body. In summer, up to 40,000 liters of water per hour flow from the shell the god holds aloft, a Triton's horn.

Beautifully made Triton fountain made in 1953, it is the showpiece in the Max-Reger-Anlage. A bronze figure of the Greek sea deity Triton with a human upper body and the fish-like abdomen forms the appearance of the fountain. The complex is always beautifully laid out and well maintained from spring to autumn. If you drive through the park or go on foot, you should linger by the fountain, the area with the flowers is a real feast for the eyes.
