The flood channel with the Waldnaab is an indispensable part of the village of Weiden. Along both sides there is a bike / footpath that invites to long walks. The barrage was redesigned a few years ago and forms a special stream for the fish to get ahead. From here, the Waldnaab flows further south into the Naab and then across the Danube into the Black Sea.
