Hiking

The Dammaschwiesen in Celle are a park-like area north of the Aller on the edge of the nature reserve Upper Allerniederung. The meadows serve in the area near the Pfennigbrücke in the summer months partly as sports and recreation areas. In the winter months, the meadows are flooded by the city of Celle to create a natural ice rink for the citizens, on the relatively safe and free ice skating can be operated.
