Château de Rennepont

The former grandeur of Domaine Rennepont can be felt in this domain, which was first mentioned in writings in 1605. The current buildings stand on the foundations of a 9th century castle, which was destroyed in the 16th century. After its original function as a monastery farm for the Abbey of Clairvaux, it was quickly expanded and inhabited by various noble families, the 'Seigneurs et Marquis de Rennepont'. until the revolution.

At the beginning of the last century, the buildings fell into complete disrepair and the domain was mainly used as a farm. The first structural renovations started in 2004 and are now finally being completed with the new tourist destination. The domain is still known in the area as 'le Chateau de Rennepont'.
