The Lourdes Grotto refers to the Marian Grottoes, which are replicas of the Grotto of Massabielle near Lourdes in southern France and Our Lady of Lourdes. According to her own statements, Saint Bernadette saw the Mother of God in this grotto in 1858. At the site of the apparitions of Mary, a Madonna figure adorns the grotto, the original of which Joseph-Hugues Fabisch created for Massabielle in 1864 according to Bernadette's instructions.

The Lourdes Grotto is a lovingly designed place of worship that blends harmoniously into its natural surroundings. It is located on the Trienztalweg trail, opposite an artfully arranged stone circle symbolizing the importance of water. The grotto, built in 1967, is made of stone and houses a statue of the Virgin Mary, reminiscent of the apparitions of Lourdes.
