The Jägersbleeker Pond is located between Clausthal-Zellerfeld and the Sperberhai Dam House.
The pond is part of the Upper Harz Water Management System, is used for drinking water production, and is a protected biotope. A shelter for hikers, which also houses the stamp box, stands at the end of the dam and is named after the forester August Weppner.
