The legs were actually a bit heavy from yesterday's tour, but the sun then lured me onto the slopes, but at a leisurely pace and with numerous photo stops.
Recovery wishes to my maladen passengers. Florell: I hope you diligently do your ISG exercises so that you can get back on the saddle! Johannes: For the time being, do not touch any tools anymore and do not accept any further orders from your wife so that your broken finger can be used again. I miss your company!

On such a nice day I had to take the opportunity. Since I started relatively haphazardly, the tour was a little longer than expected. From the Schaumburg I tried the forest path to Steinbergen. It was new to me. It was easy to drive and is even partially marked as a bike path. From Steinbergen I actually wanted to continue straight through the forest to the cliff tower, but nothing worked from there. The paths looked like armored roads. The next time I tried a little further I had to turn back. Finally, I only drove from the forest hangover towards the cliff tower and luckily the restaurant opened, because meanwhile a slight hunger had set in. I had also forgotten the water bottle. I already knew the rest of the forest to icebergs and was easy to drive. The rest in their sleep, long sprayed long times. That is the disadvantage when starting from home. At some point in the way back you can’t vary much.
Mishap of the day: Take all your camera equipment with you and forget your memory card! Grrr! Luckily I had my old cell phone with me because of Komoot recording. All in all a somewhat exhausting but great day.

The "Farmers Trail" is another, still relatively new, themed trail in the Hummerbruch district of Extertal up to the Hohen Asch. The route can also be easily ridden on MTB. But I was already on the trekking bike here - go. At the moment, however, it is often slippery and slushy.
"The Farmers' Trail focuses on the history of agriculture in Extertal and is also a circular route with fantastic viewpoints, such as the rest area" Kaiser-Wilhelm-Blick ". Two route variants are marked. The shorter one is 4.5 kilometers long and is only a moderate climb The longer version is 6.5 kilometers long and requires a bit more physical fitness. Ten information boards along the route document the development of agriculture in Extertal, with the focus on the past 100 years.

The first bike tour this year in the fog, but it was great. Pleasant temperatures, no wind and nice photo opportunities.

Runs so many times, but there are still surprises every now and then, like the NSG Schwarzer Bach / Sellenbach, located on the northern edge of the route. For the first time we turned from the main path onto a narrow path down to the Sellenbach, a real gem that reminds me a little of the Furlbach valley, of course not comparable in size. It's only a few hundred meters, but the path along the stream is really beautiful and for me to take a picture of is an absolute highlight in the area. The route in this small forest area, in which there are a few other paths, mostly leads over narrow trails with plenty of roots, at the moment also always muddy. This could be a challenge for mountain bikers. However, trees are more often lying across and the great path at the brook ends in the meantime on a steep slope. Here you have to go up to the main path and then down to the stream. With a bike that should be very difficult. Driving is not possible. Shoulders and wear not recommended. Then rather not drive back that long and see the beautiful route again from a different perspective. In any case, I would not ride the touring bike here.

Hikes and bike tours on the Schevelstein plateau near Golbeck (378m), the highest place in the Weserbergland, offer great views of the North Lippe and Weserbergland, with good visibility to the Porta Westfalica.

After messing around the past few days, it was high time to take a break. Otherwise you would still be rammdös in the Kopp.

Dressed too warm today in this mild breeze, like in spring and almost too warm for mulled wine.

Same procedure as every year ...
Condition factors "sawing", "hauling a tree" and "escaping the forester" should not be underestimated!
