The Heilig-Geist-Kirche was originally a hospital for the care of the poor and sick.
Built around 1300, after the cathedral it is the oldest sacred building in the former residential town of Güstrow. ausherrin is the "Christmas cribs in Heilig-Geist - Mechthild and Dr. Rudolf Ringguth Foundation". The presentation is a unique collection of around 170 traditional Christmas cribs from all over the world, which invites visitors to visit the church building from the early 14th century all year round.
