The Port of Hamburg is an open tidal port on the Lower Elbe in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. It is the largest seaport in Germany and the third largest in Europe after the Port of Rotterdam and the Port of Antwerp (as of 2020). Based on the standard container handling figures of 2020, it is one of the 21 largest ports in the world with its four container terminals.
