The pavilion is the center and heart of the school garden. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the rose and perennial beds framed by hedges in the elaborately designed terrain.
"The jewel in the Volkspark shines in new splendor," was the headline of a well-known Hamburg daily newspaper in 2007. This referred to the listed pavilion in the school garden of the Altonaer Volkspark, which was painstakingly and lovingly restored thanks to generous private donations. Eight majestic columns support a distinctively shaped copper roof, under which you can linger on four benches.
