Tips
The rest area is fairly new and is slightly above the trail, making it easy to miss. That would be a shame, however, because the rest area offers a great view over the hills of the North Eifel.

The rest area is on a meadow hill with a really great panoramic view. The furnishings include a table and two benches, one of which has a backrest. The disadvantage of the exposed location is the constant wind, which is only pleasant on warm days.
