Even from a distance, the silhouette of the pilgrimage church Maria Trost can be seen on the so-called Kirchberg. The parish church is consecrated to Saint Stephen and shines in baroque splendor today due to the original Gothic construction due to a Baroque renovation in the 18th century.
The name of the pilgrimage church can be traced back to a foundation of the Beer family who, after the birth of a son in 1679, donated a stone column with the Virgin Mary. Today the sculpture of the Virgin is integrated into the high altar.

One of the many beautiful churches on the Wagram, which you pass when you walk the Great Tullnerfeld circular hiking trail 675.
