The permaculture facility Alchemistenpark, which was set up in 2007, forms the core of the 1st edible community in Lower Austria. It is a project to promote fruit diversity in Europe. There are also types of fruit growing here that a few decades ago were considered "not hardy" or were completely unknown. Special features such as the blue pod bush, the Indian banana, the may berries, red-fleshed peaches and mulberries invite you to a sensual discovery.
