Hiking
The Franconian Marienweg (Mary's Trail) runs through Wonsees, but numerous other hiking trails also attract tourists. Popular destinations include the Sanspareil Rock Garden and Zwernitz Castle.

Road cycling
Those who cycle, hike or drive from Kasendorf or Thurnau via Sanspareil (rock garden) to Hollfeld come through Wonsees. I know Wonsees has a historic church and the region is steeped in history. Well, my favorite café on the market unfortunately has a beautiful half-timbered house opposite (Corona). When I was after the further course of my tour, this guide pointed me a lot (picture) and so I was sure that I was on the "right way".
