Coming from the Harz on L234 Agnesdorfer Straße from Schwiederschwende, past the hiking car park to Bauerngraben and Queste at the highest point, there is an old, mighty oak tree on the left side of the street. There used to be a bench here where you could enjoy the view over the Kyffhäuser Mountains and the Golden Aue. Unfortunately, guardrails were installed there and the bank removed years ago, but the view is still the same!
