The main river is the noticeably longer White Wehebach, which rises on the southern edge of the Todtenbruch forest near Hürtgenwald-Raffelsbrand, flows north through the Hürtgenwald and absorbs numerous smaller tributaries. Shortly before the confluence with the Wehebach dam, the four-kilometer-long Hürtgenbach flows in from the right

Only the White Wehebach rises here. The source of the Roten Wehebach is to the east of the Jägerfahrt forester's house near Zweifall.
