Hiking

The Hainsimsen beech forest is a particularly protected forest area of the "Natura 2000", which means the "coherent ecological network of special protected areas within the European Community" (source: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natura_2000). This ensures that animals and plants are protected in this forest in order to preserve biodiversity and to revalue the bee population. For this purpose, deliberately dispenses with chemical fertilizers and operated only natural forestry. Info boards along the way reveal piece by piece of knowledge about this forest.
