The fairytale pond is located in the lower part of the Schönfeld park. In summer the fairy tale musical, which is organized by the Brothers Grimm Festival, takes place on the lake stage on the Märchenteich. Spectators can best reach the connected grandstand on foot. The Park Schönfeld stop is nearby.

Hiking

The new floating stage in Park Schönfeld now has a suitable address. The Brothers Grimm Festival had launched a name-finding competition for the pond (official name "Gewässer Teich Nr. 1"). The name "Schönfelder Märchenteich" convinced the jury.
So the fairytale pond now forms a dreamlike backdrop in front of the floating stage and for performances that will hopefully take place after Corona.
