Completed in May 2020, the hut, which is remarkably robust, offers a perfect resting place at this important intersection, from which you can hike on the Kohlweg to the Simmerkopf or Schanzerkopf or descend to Argenthal or the Glashütter Wiesen.

According to a notice, drinks were stolen and the cash register was broken into and the self-service drinks supply was therefore stopped.
