The path leads over hill and dale on a tree-lined rampart to the Fohlenhaus ice age cave. On both sides the Lone Valley with the small river that had no water in July 2020.
A very nice, rustic section. No cyclists, easy on feet and shady.

Hiking

A path with character that leads over a small ridge made of Jura rock from the main hiking trail to the Fohlenhaus. Wonderfully located under beech trees. Stones and roots serve both as climbing aids and as tripping hazards.
Beautiful and much too short, but definitely a must if you are a hiking enthusiast in the Lone Valley.
