Graduation tower in the Solegarten St. Jakob

The only fully developed thermal brine spring on the Lower Rhine is located in the St. Jakob brine garden. Here you can lean back and relax on a wooden lounger and enjoy the salty air around the graduation tower. There is also a Kneipp pool, a barefoot path and a garden with plants that play a special role in the Bible.

Inhaling the aerosols - that's the name of the fine salt water droplets - prevents respiratory and cold diseases. It stimulates and cleans the blood supply to the lungs. The entire respiratory tract is cleaned of bacteria and allergens such as dust or pollen. This not only brings relief to allergy sufferers.

The graduation tower in Kevelaer is 12 meters high and about 25 meters in diameter. The visible wooden frame construction is made of larch wood.
The graduation tower with 3% salinity has been in operation since July 2019.
