The Hickeswinkel Field Chapel is located in the Karken district of the city of Heinsberg in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The chapel stands in the former district and today's Hickeswinkel Street, which leads from Karken towards Haaren. The field chapel is located at the end of the village, about 450 meters to the southeast.

It is also popularly known as the "Kapellchen am Wöbel" (Little Chapel on the Wöbel).

This former bunker, used as an ammunition depot during the war years 1939–1945, was built in 1938. After the Second World War, the bunker was cleared and converted into a field chapel.

Dedicated to the Mother of God, the chapel was consecrated and dedicated to its intended purpose by Pastor Dr. Rudolf Vitusx in 1953. In times of need and illness, the neighborhoods go in processions to the chapel and pray for help and health.

The building is a plastered reinforced concrete structure with a tiled gable roof.

The chapel is surrounded by a hedge, and several beech trees provide shade in the summer.

A bench invites you to rest.

A crucifix hangs above the rectangular entrance door.

The interior has a tiled floor. The walls and ceiling are painted and feature large, colorful ornaments.

In the chapel are a Madonna and Child, two angel figures, several small icons, candles, and floral decorations, as well as several prayer benches.
