Tips
Many paths lead to the Grünten. The sunrise here and at the nearby Jägerdenkmal is unique due to the exposed location. For this we recommend the fast ascent from the Alpe Kammeregg (free parking space just below the Alpe, toll-free) over the Grünten hut to the monument. On the south-east side, the gourmet tour takes you from Berggasthof Alpenblick via the Schwandalpe (try cheese bread) to Grüntenhaus and on to the summit.
