Hiking

The Mariengrotte was completed in 1913 within three weeks. The basalt blocks come from the Seifertser Hute. Not only the grotto itself is a gem, the whole complex with its beautiful beech stock, the many stairs, the fountain and so much more invite the visitor to linger.

Hiking

I have seen many Marian grottos, but I particularly liked this one. The grounds are very well maintained, there are lots of places to sit and lots of flowers. It's a nice place to stop and take a break.
