Hiking Highlight
The Potsdam district of Klein-Glienicke was almost an exclave with its location east of the Teltow Canal, which was only connected to the GDR area by the narrow bridge towards Babelsberg and was otherwise separated from West Berlin by the border walls and was therefore actually walled in. Hard to imagine today what life was like here during the division of Germany.
