The Schwarzach Gorge, also known as Schwarzachschlucht or Schwarzachdurchbruch, is one of Bavaria's most beautiful geotopes and is designated as a nature reserve.

The Schwarzachklamm at the doors of Nuremberg is one of the 100 most beautiful geotopes in Bavaria and has been a protected area since 1936. It is worth a visit in every season!

Beautiful easy hike for the whole family through an impressive gorge (in every season) with possibility to stop in the beer garden / restaurant Brückkanal. Here, the Schwarzach and the old Ludwig-Danube-Main Canal intersect

It is not for nothing that the Schwarzach Gorge has been awarded the seal of approval "Bavaria's most beautiful geotopes". A beautiful path always leads along the Schwarzach through the gorge, where the small river pushes its way through the rocks. Easy to walk, sturdy shoes are recommended, the path leads past beautiful and bizarre rock formations, as well as two caves and a spring. Adventure playground for "young and old".

The Schwarzachklamm is a real hiking highlight and is particularly suitable for walks with children, because there is so much to see. Refreshments are available.

Especially with children, I recommend the hike through the Schwarzach gorge, because there is no quibble here guaranteed. But shoes and clothes will not stay so clean, too many climbing possibilities, muddy spots and the river itself will take care of that.

Very impressive route. On weekends and public holidays almost overcrowded.
Suitable for families, as children have many climbing opportunities and the like. find out to try yourself.

Always nice on the Schwarzach gorge. Especially on the hot days of the year for dog and owner highly recommended. Bathing possibilities for the Wuffels along the gorge and then masters and / or mistresses can enjoy a refreshing drink in the beer garden 😊
