    The Notre Dame chapel in Evegnée stands in the shade of a centuries-old linden tree (believed to be 350 years old). It was built in 1695 according to an inscription on the keystone. It is located on the site of a previous chapel, the first building of which probably dates from the year 1000.

    The Evegnée chapel is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The Romanesque chapel is located behind a stone gate crowned by a vaulted gable. The square and sturdy bell tower houses two bells. The smallest dates from the 16th century (it would be one of the oldest in Belgium) and weighs 100 kg. The other is from 1776 and weighs 180 kg.
