Coming from the Externstein, this section forms the last section of the Eggeweg and is part of the Via Regia. It goes downhill quickly on a forest path. In the 1980s, the path here was more of a single trail, but the path was probably expanded when a gas pipeline was built along the way.You can really pick up speed on the fairly wide and clearly visible path. But be careful: there are always clear transverse channels in the path, which can also be used as a jump for a few meters of flight. Or that can cause a fall if you are not safe on the bike. Downhill it is fun, uphill it is a little torture. ;)
