Historic Jewish cemetery, picturesquely situated on a slope above the Kraichbach stream. Burials took place here from the 17th century until 1939.Visits are only possible by appointment at the cemetery office.

The Jewish cemetery is located a little outside the town center and is a testament to Jewish life in the surrounding area. There are 294 tombstones there.
According to wikipedia, the cemetery was created in 1688 and expanded several times. The last funeral took place in 1939. The desecration in 1985 and 1986 was inglorious.

The cemetery is picturesquely situated on a slope towards the Kraichbach and can be seen from afar from the west. Viewing only by appointment at the cemetery office.Jews are first documented in Flehingen in 1548. After the turmoil of the Thirty Years' War, the landlord Wolff-Metternich took in Jews in the village again. Their number was limited to ten families in Flehingen at the end of the 17th century. In 1688 the Jewish cemetery in Flehingen was laid out on Gochsheimer Straße.
