Giselawarte Observation Tower

A beautiful place! Anyone who climbs the pretty (Steinbloßtechnik) control room to enjoy the panoramic view (partially covered by trees) throws 1.50 euros (1 euro for members) into a till in the control room.
On the platforms along the way you will get various information, including the control room. I found the old photos particularly interesting.
If the weather is right, you can see very far from above and you can see Linz and the Danube, and Kirchschlag on the other side. A hiking trail leads there. A laminated map shows the peaks all around.
