Current information: Since September 2020, renovation work has been taking place on Kreisstraße 19 (K 19) between Hennef-Stein and the city of Blankenberg. Due to the narrow road conditions, the K19 east of the Steiner Mühle is completely closed to the entrance to Blankenberg.
The work is expected to take around four months. If the construction site can be safely passed on weekends or public holidays, it will be released for local traffic. The road up to Blankenberg is currently (as of October) pretty desolate, rocky, but can also be ridden with a racing bike ... if you have a little fun graving ;-)
