The castle Farnroda was a 1677 -built castle and monument in the community Wutha-Farnroda Wartburgkreis and was located in the northern part of the historic local situation. After the political change, Anzius family retook their property in Farnroda. For the ruinous castle there could be no rescue, it was demolished in 1997. In its place is now a kindergarten and an apartment building.
