The church is located on the southern edge of the village Satemin, which is built in typical for the Hanoverian Wendland round shape with magnificent, worth seeing gable views. The exact year of construction of this small church can not be determined, but it will probably be around 1300. The mighty tower of fieldstone certainly served as a defense tower. Of particular beauty is the eastern gable with Gothic pointed arches. The church was extensively renovated inside and out in 2005 and 2006.

Beautiful little stone church, reminiscent of a fortified church.

Satemin is the largest surviving Rundling in the Hannover Wendland. A picturesque village square, surrounded by beautiful, old hall houses of low German design, invites you to linger. Satemin is the ideal starting point for cycling tours and hikes through fields, forests and meadows and to discover the Wendland Rundlingsdörfer.
