The Herrenmühle is located on the K 12 district road between Schwissel and Klein Gladebrügge. A long time ago - around 1850 - it was a "royal lease watermill" on the Trave. Linked to the mill lease were a pitcher, distillery, brewery and malting facility as well as the authority to trade in grain, malt and flour. The mill building, romantically located in the Travetal, is privately owned and not accessible to visitors. But from the street you can go down to the Trave in just a few steps. Then you have a view of the river. It flows under the double arches of the road bridge and then foams with a gradient over larger stones. A small trave cataract.kreis-segeberg.city-map.de/02016600/trave-katarakt
