The deeply cut path is probably one of the most beautiful ravines in the area. Just beautiful.

"The Steinighohle is one of the rare examples that a ravine has sunk into the reed sandstone due to traffic. There are 2 reasons for this: On the one hand, the Steinighohle was a frequently traveled route from Odenheim to Waldangelloch, whereby the subsoil was heavily used. On the other hand the reed sandstone here is not in the form of solid stone banks, but consists of clayey layers with only thin-plate sandstone layers, which are relatively soft overall."
