Tips
Built in 1566 and still stands in its original location. A specialty in Hanover, the center of which was over 90% destroyed after the Second World War. Only about 40 buildings in the formerly large old town between Steintor and Aegidientorplatz were at least partially spared from fires. The facades of the individual buildings were relocated at the end of the 1950s and merged to form an old town island around Boneshauer and Burgstraße.
