The Lampertsstein can be reached from the free hiking car park in Bilatal without much effort in a short time. This part of Saxon Switzerland is somewhat spared from mass tourism, which leads to much more peace and quiet at the vantage points. The view from the Lampertsstein is really terrific. When the weather is clear, you can marvel at the various table mountains from Königstein Fortress to the Großer Winterberg. On the way to the Lampertsstein you can also combine your tour with the Kohlberg view and the Schneeberg view.

The Lampertsstein is definitely worth a visit! Anyone who climbs up the Lampertsstein from the promenade with dogs has to climb a small wooden ladder, which requires some effort and skill from the four-legged friends. If you choose the other way, you can easily reach the viewpoint via stone steps. :)

According to an older tradition, the Lampertstein is named after its former owner. From here you can see the Königstein, Lilienstein, Pfaffenstein, Gohrisch, Papststein, Falkenstein, Schrammsteine and up to the Großer Winterberg.
