From kingfishers to red-necked grebes to ecological fish farming.
On the edge of the nature park is an open pond landscape with a good 30 large and small lakes. The 30-hectare water area, which has been cultivated for 30 years, and the adjoining mixed forests form a unique biotope. The first fish farm certified according to ecological guidelines was operated here.
The lakes not only offer the white-tailed eagle an excellent hunting ground, but are also the habitat of many reptiles and endangered dragonflies.
