Rock point on the hill path with a beautiful view of the valley and over it. That famous nose of Napoleon you come across more often in the Ardennes as a name for rock points.

It was always known colloquially as "Le Nez de Napoléon," says Stany Noël from the neighboring village of Walk. How the name came about is anyone's guess: "It is most likely that a military map was drawn up by Colonel Tranchot around 1805. It is assumed that he mentioned this rocky outcrop. After that it was called "Nez de Napoleon" because it was mentioned at the time of Napoleon. The place has been known here ever since."

A real highlight on a hike in the Warche valley. A great view and a beautiful place, even in adverse weather conditions. Certainly gorgeous in sunshine.
