    The highlight is actually a section of the route. Over the Arnold Goudeschaal Weg we come to the left along the Leda shortly after Amdorf to the bird sanctuary "Polder Holter Hammrich", where we see a large number of different birds breeding, resting or playing poker or whatever the birds do over vast expanses of water , can watch. A viewing platform opens up a seemingly endless panorama. High quality binoculars, telephoto lenses and monopods increase the experience immensely. Voe display boards explain the area, flora and fauna.

    After this wonderful experience, the path leads us along the Hauptfehnlanal, which flows into the Leda to Holterfehn, Holte and Rhaude, or Potshausen, where we come across the Leda again.
