These large sandstone rocks long ago broke off on the higher hay cliffs, rolled down the slope and remained on this small hill. Compared to the sights directly on the Eggeweg further up, the Teufelssteine are visited very rarely. Wrongly, because a first-class trail run leads down to the worth seeing Teufelssteine. Visit tip!

Unfortunately, the stones are now in a large spruce cemetery 😪 There is not much left of the original charm of the place. Beetles, heat, lack of water, everything comes together here for sure. As in the entire region. But as a memorial for a better way of dealing with nature, it's always good 😔
