These are quintessential Cotswold bridleways at their finest. A stretch combining valley-side grassy trails, a lane through a quaint Cotswold stone village and alongside a babbling stream, woodland doubletrack and pasture.

Located to the south of the well-known Castle Combe race circuit, this bridleway passes east to west from Kent's Bottom Farm through Hammerdown Wood and West Yatton Down, before crossing the village at Long Dean to climb parallel to By Brook, reaching the lane near Ford village.

Well worth a ride if you're in this area.

Beautiful views up on top but the track near Bybrook has been majorly pitted by 4x4s so prepare for plunge pools and slippery mud.
