The Albarca tower is on a cliff that gives you spectacular views. It is a defense tower built in 1751 to monitor the maritime area between Mallorca and Menorca, because at that time the island of Menorca belonged to the British.
You can climb the tower via some steps (it's dark, so it's best to bring a flashlight). At the top, you can see one of its old cannons.

A lovely destination for a coastal hike, even with children.
The rungs of the ladder are only suitable for older children, however, as they are quite far apart.
Great view, well-visited.The name varies: sometimes Albarca, sometimes Aubarca, or even Matzoc. The first two names derive from the nearby estate, the last from Cala de Matzoc, to the south.
