The Magdalene Chapel, built in the 15th century, is located on the Kapellenberg, a hill away from the town center by the cemetery. It is the burial church of the pilgrim to St. James and patron saint of Baunach, Victor Überkum, and was a place of pilgrimage for centuries. Today it is part of the Franconian Way of St. James. It is a must-see.
