Tips
The Mannhof is located southeast of Krettenbach on a hill. The name of the settlement only became established when the Würzburg prince-bishop Julius Echter took the court out of the fiefdom of the Augustinian canons of Birklingen and transferred it to the Juliusspital, founded in 1576. From then on it was the court of a Julius Hospital man, a herd and shepherd. The estate later returned to the Kitzingen monastery and became the fiefdom first of Seckendorff, then Seinsheimer.
