A heath landscape develops on the edge of the Klingerhufs in Neukirchen-Vluyn. Ten Heidschnucken are currently in use on the area. The area is an inland dune train, some approximately 3-4 m high dune bodies are still present today. At one point there is also a smaller relic area than Calluna heath.
