Lovely stretch of woodland, that sits just above the banks of the River Cocker in Cockermouth. On the opposite side of the river to the popular park, it's a quieter spot.

This woodland is north of Double Mills Bridge and the fitness area and opposite Rubbybanks Road that follows the west bank of the River Cocker down into town.
There is a lovely shaded path through the wood, high above the Cocker and finishing in the Greenway.
