Hiking
The castle Rothestein was built in the late 19th century as a residence for the former theater director of Kassel. In keeping with German romanticism of the castles, the design was followed by neo-Gothic styles. Since then, the castle has changed owners several times. Until recently, there was a café in the castle, but now it's closed. The premises of the castle can be rented for celebrations or events.
