The Kiebitzmoor is a 1.7 hectare natural monument on the eastern edge of Hamburg-Volksdorf.
It was created in the last ice age by a water-retaining depression and shows a fauna and flora that is worth protecting, typical of lowland peatlands. The moor consists of a central, nutrient-poor pond, which is bordered by willows and birch-oak break forest. The near-natural moor water is a valuable humid habitat, especially for amphibians and dragonflies.
