Sgorr Ruadh (962m) is a Munro mountain offering beautiful views of the surrounding hills. The summit is gained over quartzite scree.

Nice one indeed and good to do in combination with Beinn Liath Mhor. The views are slightly better from Beinn Liath Mhor however. The walk down towards Achnashellach takes you through a lovely little Baleach with lots of little lakes. Very scenic.

Sgorr Ruadh is the finer of these two Munros north of Achnashellach station. Better still is the round if you include the Corbett Fuar Tholl to the south on your return rather than dropping back into Coire Lair at the bealach.
